SM312DQD Description
Banner Engineering SM312DQD is a photo-electric sensor from the SM312 series, designed with a diffuse mode potentiometer adjustment. This sensor features a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens and is pre-equipped with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector. It operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with 12Vdc and 24Vdc as nominal values, and can be mounted using an M18 threaded mount. The ambient air temperature for operation ranges from -20 to +70°C. It offers a high degree of protection, rated at IP67, NEMA 1, NEMA 2, NEMA 3, NEMA 3S, NEMA 4, NEMA 4X, NEMA 6, and NEMA 12, making it suitable for a wide range of environments. The sensor has a rectangular shape and includes 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor). It provides a sensing distance of 380mm and uses infrared (IR) light, with a response time of 1ms / 0.001 s.
