Schneider Electric TM241C24T is a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) CPU unit featuring an integrated I/O design. It includes a dual-core processor, 14 digital inputs (24Vdc; Sink/Source; 8 inputs can be used as high-speed HSC counters), 6 digital outputs (transistor outputs), and 4 digital outputs (high-speed transistors; Source). The memory capacity is 64MB (RAM), 128MB (flash), and 8MB (program size; for application and symbols), with a degree of protection of IP20. It supports RS-232 and RS-485 communication protocols. The connection capacity includes 7 x local I.O., 14 x distributed I.O., 7 x Modicon TM3 expansion modules for local I.O., and 14 x Modicon TM3 expansion modules for remote I.O. using bus expansion modules. Modicon TM2 expansion modules are also possible with restrictions. The power consumption with the maximum number of I/O expansion modules ranges from 32.6-40.4 W, and the humidity tolerance is 5-95% (without condensation). The processing time is 300μs / 0.3 ms for 1k instructions (event and periodic task) and 700μs / 0.7 ms for other instructions, with a hold time of 0.01s for immunity to micro-breaks class PS-2.
