Q45AD9D Description
Banner Engineering Q45AD9D is an intrinsically-safe photo-electric sensor designed for a variety of applications requiring precise detection. This sensor features a diffuse mode with potentiometer adjustment and is equipped with a pre-wired 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads for easy installation. It is designed for mounting via an M30 threaded mount and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C. The Q45AD9D, part of the Q45AD9 series, offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6P, ensuring durability in harsh environments. It operates on a supply voltage range of 5Vdc to 15Vdc, with a nominal voltage of 12Vdc. The sensor's rectangular shape is constructed from a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens, capable of sensing distances up to 300mm. It utilizes infrared (IR) light with a wavelength of 880 nm and can operate in both Light-ON and Dark-ON modes. The sensor provides a single digital output (NAMUR) and boasts a quick response time of 5ms / 0.005 s.
