Banner Engineering Q45AD9D W/30 is an intrinsically-safe photo-electric sensor designed for a variety of applications requiring precise detection. It features a diffuse mode with potentiometer adjustment and is equipped with a pre-wired 30ft / 9m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads for easy installation. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C and is housed in a thermoplastic casing with an acrylic lens, ensuring durability in challenging environments. The Q45AD9D W/30, part of the Q45AD9 series, offers a sensing distance of 300mm and utilizes infrared light with a wavelength of 880 nm for detection. It supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes and provides a single digital output (NAMUR) with a quick response time of 5ms. This model is designed for M30 threaded mount installation and is protected against ingress with an IP67 NEMA 6P rating. It requires a supply voltage of 5Vdc to 15Vdc, with 12Vdc nominal, to operate efficiently.
