Banner Engineering M18SN6R is a photo-electric sensor designed for through-beam system applications, functioning as the receiver component within the M18 series. It operates with infrared (IR) light and is encased in a durable stainless steel housing with a polycarbonate lens. This sensor is shaped in an M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel form for easy installation. It comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable featuring bare end flying leads for connection. The M18SN6R requires a supply voltage ranging from 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal values at 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It is built to withstand ambient air temperatures from -40 to +70 degrees Celsius and offers a high degree of protection rated at IP69K and NEMA 6P, ensuring its operation in demanding environments.
