SM2A312LV Description
Banner Engineering SM2A312LV is a photo-electric sensor from the SM2A312 series designed in a retro-reflective mode with potentiometer adjustment. This sensor features a thermoplastic housing and an acrylic lens. It comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads. The supply voltage required for operation ranges from 24Vac to 240Vac, with nominal voltages at 200Vac and 220Vac. It is designed for M18 threaded mount installation and can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C. The SM2A312LV offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, NEMA 1, 2, 3, 3S, 4, 4X, 6, 12, and 13, making it suitable for various environmental conditions. Its shape is rectangular, and it includes 1 x digital output (Solid-state AC output; SPST contact type) with a sensing distance of 5m. The sensor emits visible red light with a wavelength of 650 nm and has a response time of 4ms / 0.004 s. It supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes.
