SGSMP2-500Q128 Description
Banner Engineering SGSMP2-500Q128 is a safety light curtain from the SGS series designed with an integrated muting function. This product features a pair of emitter and receiver with an aluminium housing, Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) lens, and thermoplastic end caps. It is pre-equipped with both 8-pin and 12-pin Euro-style M12 connectors. The safety light curtain offers a protective height of 500mm and comes in a yellow housing. It operates on a 24Vdc supply voltage and can function within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55°C. The device is rated with an IP65 degree of protection and has dimensions of 52mm in width, 607mm in height, and 57mm in depth. It features 2 beams with a 500mm beam spacing/pitch and includes 2 digital outputs (24Vdc; 500mA; sourcing; redundant OSSD solid-state outputs). The sensing distance ranges from 50cm to 30m, and it utilizes infrared (IR) light with a response time of 12ms / 0.012 s. The wavelength of the light is 950 nm, and it is designed for perimeter access guarding with a resolution of 500mm.
