SGSMA3-400Q12 Description
Banner Engineering SGSMA3-400Q12 is a safety light curtain designed for perimeter access guarding with a protective height of 800mm. It features an integrated muting function and operates as an active unit with both transmitter and receiver on one side. The unit is constructed with an aluminium housing, Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) lens, and thermoplastic end caps. It is pre-equipped with a 5-pin and a 12-pin Euro-style M12 connector for connectivity. The SGSMA3-400Q12 operates on a 24Vdc supply voltage and can function within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55°C. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP65 and has dimensions of 52mm in width, 907mm in height, and 57mm in depth. The safety light curtain features 3 beams with a 380mm beam spacing/pitch, 2 x digital outputs (24Vdc; 500mA; sourcing; redundant OSSD solid-state outputs), and a sensing distance ranging from 50cm to 8m. It emits infrared (IR) light with a wavelength of 950 nm and has a response time of 12ms. The resolution is specified at 400mm for perimeter access guarding.
