SGSMA2-500Q12 Description
Banner Engineering SGSMA2-500Q12 is a safety light curtain from the SGS series designed with an integrated muting function. This active unit combines transmission and reception on one side and is housed in aluminum with a polycarbonate (PMMA) lens and thermoplastic end caps. It features a pre-equipped 5-pin and 12-pin Euro-style M12 connector for connectivity. The unit has a protective height of 500mm and comes in a yellow housing. It operates on a 24Vdc supply voltage and can function within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55°C. With an IP65 degree of protection, it measures 52mm in width, 607mm in height, and 57mm in depth. The SGSMA2-500Q12 offers 2 beams with a 500mm beam spacing/pitch and includes 2 digital outputs (24Vdc; 500mA; sourcing; redundant OSSD solid-state outputs). It has a sensing distance ranging from 50cm to 8m and uses infrared (IR) light with a wavelength of 950 nm. The response time is 11ms, and it is designed for perimeter access guarding with a resolution of 500mm.
