Q253E Description
Banner Engineering Q253E is a photo-electric sensor designed for through-beam system applications, functioning as an emitter alone. It features an M18 threaded mount for secure installation and is equipped with a pre-wired 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads for easy connection. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C and is suitable for use in environments requiring a high degree of protection, as indicated by its IP69K NEMA 6P rating. The Q253E, part of the Q25 AC series, is designed with a rectangular, thermoplastic housing and a polycarbonate lens. It operates on a supply voltage of 20Vac-250Vac (with 200Vac / 220Vac / 240Vac nominal values) and offers a sensing distance of up to 20m. The sensor emits infrared light at a wavelength of 950 nm and boasts a response time of 16ms / 0.016 s.
