Banner Engineering Q240RA-EU-ILQ is a narrow-beam adjustable-field radar sensor designed for a variety of detection applications. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +65 °C and features a time-of-flight system that is approved for use in Europe, the UK, Australia, and New Zealand by Telecom. This sensor is equipped with a 5-pin Euro-style M12 connector for easy installation. As part of the Q240R series, it offers an IP67 degree of protection, ensuring durability in harsh environments. The sensor requires a supply voltage of 12Vdc to 30Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal, and is housed in a rectangular, polycarbonate (PC) enclosure. It operates on a 24.050GHz to 24.250GHz transmission frequency within the ISM band. The Q240RA-EU-ILQ can detect objects within a sensing distance of 3.5 to 100 meters and includes both normally open (NO) and normally closed (NC) operating modes. It features 2 digital outputs (PNP/NPN transistor) and 1 analog output (4-20mA), with built-in protection against reverse polarity and short-circuit conditions.
