Banner Engineering DX80G2M6S-PM8C is a gateway designed for surface mounting with a polycarbonate housing, polycarbonate rotary dial cover, polyester labels, EDPM rubber cover gasket, and nitrile rubber, ensuring durability in various environments. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +85°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP20 NEMA 1. The dimensions of this rectangular-shaped gateway are H44.5mm x W103.3mm x D80.1mm. It features 6 digital outputs (30Vdc; PNP; 100mA) and 6 digital inputs (30Vdc 3mA; Sourcing), suitable for diverse applications. The DX80G2M6S-PM8C operates on a transmission frequency of 2400 MHz and utilizes FHSS (Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum) technology for enhanced communication reliability. It is part of the PM series, designed for wire replacement in Ex e II applications, and includes I.O. mapping, 2 buttons, and 2 bi-color LEDs for operational status indication. Connection is facilitated through detachable screw-clamp connectors and an RP-SMA connector, with a supply voltage requirement of 10-30Vdc (12Vdc-24Vdc nom.). This gateway supports RS-485 Modbus RTU communication protocol and operates on the 2.4GHz ISM band with a 65mW frequency, capable of achieving a maximum transmission distance of 3.2km at nominal emission power.
