PULS QT40.361 is a power supply unit designed for AC/DC conversion with a 50% power reserve. It features DIN rail mounting and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25 to +70°C. The unit is equipped with a DC-OK relay contact output and offers a rated current of 26.7A at 36Vdc and 22.9A at 42Vdc, with a power derating of 24W at temperatures from +60°C to +70°C. Connection is facilitated through screw-clamp connections. The supply voltage accommodates a wide range of 323Vac to 576Vac (with nominal values including 380Vac, 400Vac, 415Vac, 440Vac, 480Vac, 500Vac, and 525Vac; 47-63Hz), featuring a 3-phase input, a turn-ON voltage of 3 x 305Vac, and a shutdown voltage of 3 x 275Vac in steady-state conditions. This part of the Q-series measures W110mm x H124mm x D127mm and is housed in aluminium. It is designed for a 3-phase network, with a net width of 110 mm. The rated power is 960W at both 36Vdc and 42Vdc, with a short-term capacity of 1440W for up to 4 seconds. The output voltage is adjustable between 36Vdc and 42Vdc, with a turn-ON overshoot of 750mV. Protection functions include output overvoltage protection, active input inrush current limiter, and overload/short-circuit protection. It supports series or parallel operation for increased output power and is resistant to back-feeding loads up to 50V. The efficiency rates are 0.952 at 3x480Vac input and 0.953 at 3x400Vac input. Peak inrush current consumption is 6A at both 3x400Vac and 3x480Vac inputs. The unit has a start-up delay of 500-600s, with rise times of 40ms and 45ms under specified conditions, and a hold time of 25ms. Power dissipation losses are 48.4W and 47.3W for 3x480Vac and 3x400Vac inputs, respectively, under full output load. Electrical durability spans from 363000 hours to 72000 hours across various conditions, with a ripple of 130mVpp at 20Hz to 20MHz and an output stage capacitance of 4700µF.
