PULS PIM90.241 is a power supply unit designed for AC/DC conversion with a DIN rail mounting option. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60°C, with linear derating up to +70°C. This unit features a DC-OK relay contact output and provides a rated current of 3.8A at 24Vdc within the -10 to +60°C range, and 2.8A at 24Vdc at +70°C. It utilizes screw-clamp connections for secure installation and supports a supply voltage range of 90Vac to 264Vac across various nominal values (100Vac to 240Vac) at 47-63Hz, with an input overvoltage tolerance of 264-300Vac for up to 500ms, a turn-ON voltage of 55Vac, and a shutdown voltage of 47Vac. The PIM-series unit measures W36mm x H90mm x D91mm, has an IP20 degree of protection, and is housed in a polycarbonate (PC) material. It is designed for single-phase (1AC) networks, with a net width of 36mm. The rated power is 90W at temperatures between -10 and +60°C, and 67.2W at +70°C, with output voltage adjustable between 24Vdc and 28Vdc. Protection features include output overvoltage protection and overload/short-circuit protection. The unit is not suitable for series or parallel operation and can handle back-feeding loads up to 35V without malfunctioning. It achieves an efficiency of 0.938 at 230Vac input and 0.921 at 120Vac input, with a current consumption of 0.95A at 230Vac input at full output. The start-up delay is 50ms for 100-230Vac input, with a hold time of 119ms at 230Vac input. Power dissipation is 6W at 230Vac input with a full output load. Electrical durability is rated at up to 815000 hours at 25°C with 1.9A load and 1AC 230Vac input. The output stage capacitance is 1600µF, and the ripple is maintained at 100mVpp across a 20Hz to 20MHz range with a 50Ω load.
