SMA30SEL W/30 Description
Banner Engineering SMA30SEL W/30 is a photo-electric sensor from the SM30 series, designed as a through-beam system with opposed mode "A" modulation frequency. This sensor functions as an emitter alone, encased in a stainless steel housing for durability. It is pre-wired with a 30ft / 9m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads, facilitating easy installation. The SMA30SEL W/30 operates on a supply voltage range of 12Vac-240Vac (with 200Vac / 220Vac nominal) and 10Vdc-30Vdc (with 12Vdc / 24Vdc nominal), making it versatile for various power supply configurations. It can operate in ambient air temperatures ranging from -40 to +70 degrees Celsius and is rated with a degree of protection of IP67 NEMA 6P, indicating a high level of protection against dust and water ingress. The sensor features an M30 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape for straightforward mounting, a sensing distance of up to 150m, and utilizes infrared (IR) light with a wavelength of 880 nm. Its response time is quick at 10ms / 0.01 s, ensuring timely detection for automation applications.
