SME312FQD Description

Banner Engineering SME312FQD is a photo-electric fiber optic sensor from the SME312 Expert series, designed with TEACH mode functionality. This sensor features a thermoplastic housing with glass fiber and is pre-equipped with a 5-pin Euro-style M12 connector for connectivity. It operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and can be mounted using an M18 threaded mount. The SME312FQD is designed to operate within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C and offers a high degree of protection with ratings of IP67, NEMA 1, 2, 3, 3S, 4, 4X, 6, 12, and 13. This rectangular-shaped sensor provides 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor), utilizes infrared (IR) light with a wavelength of 880 nm, and boasts a rapid response time of 0.5ms / 0.0005 s. It supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes.
