Q5XKLAF5000-Q8 Description
Banner Engineering Q5XKLAF5000-Q8 is a Class 2 laser adjustable-field photo-electric sensor designed for a variety of applications requiring precise detection. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +50 degrees Celsius and features a background/foreground suppression system with dual discrete output and IO Link TEACH mode for enhanced functionality. It comes pre-equipped with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector for easy installation. As part of the Q5X series, it boasts an IP67 degree of protection, making it suitable for demanding environments. The sensor requires a supply voltage of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with 12Vdc and 24Vdc as nominal values. Its rectangular shape is constructed from a thermoplastic housing with a Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) window for durability. Communication is facilitated via IO-Link protocol. The sensing distance ranges from 65cm to 2.5m, utilizing visible class 2 red laser light with a wavelength of 650 nm. It also features 2 digital outputs (PNP/NPN transistor / IO-Link) for versatile connectivity options.
