T30UXIC Description

Banner Engineering T30UXIC is an ultrasonic distance sensor/transmitter belonging to the T30UX series. It features a time-of-flight system with extended temperature range and compensation TEACH mode. The sensor is housed in thermoplastic and comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads. It operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc / 24Vdc. Designed for threaded mount installation, the T30UXIC can operate in ambient air temperatures ranging from -40 to +70°C. It is rated with a degree of protection of IP67 NEMA 6, making it suitable for challenging environments. The sensor has an M30 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape, with a sensing distance of 30cm to 3m and utilizes a 114kHz transmission frequency. It includes protection functions against short-circuit and features 1 x analog output (4-20mA) for connectivity. The thread size for mounting is M30.
