Banner Engineering SLPE25-550P8 is a safety light curtain from the LP Low-Profile series designed for hand detection with a resolution of 25mm. This unit, functioning as an emitter alone, is encased in an aluminium housing with an acrylic lens and zinc end caps, ensuring durability. It features a pre-wired 300mm pigtail terminated with an 8-pin Euro-style M12 connector for easy installation. The protective height of the device is 550mm, and it has a compact design with dimensions of 28mm in width, 549mm in height, and 26mm in depth. The SLPE25-550P8 operates on a 24Vdc supply voltage and can function within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55°C. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP65, making it suitable for various industrial environments. The safety light curtain provides a sensing distance from 10cm to 7m and utilizes infrared light with a wavelength of 850 nm for detection.
